Karishma & Matt’s Multicultural Wedding at The Village House in Litchfield Beach, SC

Some weddings are beautiful. Some are fun. And then there are weddings like Karishma and Matt’s—where every moment feels meaningful, every detail tells a story, and every guest leaves feeling like they were part of something truly special.

Karishma, who grew up in South Carolina, and Matt, a New Jersey native, brought together more than 100 friends and family members from all over the country to celebrate their love. But this wasn’t just a gathering—it was the blending of cultures, traditions, and two families becoming one.

Day One: The Art of Tradition

The celebration began with Karishma spending hours being adorned in intricate henna. Her arms and legs were transformed into stunning works of art, each design carrying tradition and meaning. It was a beautiful way to slow down, reflect, and begin the wedding journey hanging out with one of her childhood friends.

Day Two: A Warm Welcome

The welcome party set the tone for the days ahead. Guests were treated to incredible Indian cuisine, surrounded by thoughtful and elegant décor that reflected Karishma’s heritage. One of the most special touches? Guests had the opportunity to receive their own henna, creating a shared experience that brought everyone together.

It was more than just a party—it was a chance for two worlds to meet, connect, and celebrate side by side. You could feel the excitement building as friendships formed and laughter filled the air.

The Wedding Day: A Celebration Like No Other

The big day began with one of the most energetic and unforgettable traditions—the Baraat. Matt stepped into the spotlight, fully embracing his role with confidence and joy. Surrounded by music, dancing, and celebration, he was truly the star of the show, and you could see how proud everyone was watching him honor Karishma’s culture so wholeheartedly.

Then came Karishma’s entrance—and it was nothing short of breathtaking. Dressed in exquisite attire from India, adorned with stunning jewelry and a delicate veil, she was the picture of elegance and grace. Every detail of her look told a story, and every eye  was on her.

The ceremony itself was deeply meaningful and thoughtfully crafted, blending traditions in a way that felt authentic to both of them. It wasn’t just about becoming husband and wife—it was about honoring where they came from while building something new together.

An Unforgettable Reception

The celebration continued at The Village House, and it did not disappoint. The dance floor stayed packed all night as guests moved seamlessly between American and Indian music, matching the energy and joy of every beat.

It was the kind of reception where no one wanted to sit down—where laughter, music, and celebration carried on late into the night.

The Heart of It All

At the center of everything are Karishma and Matt themselves. They are truly best friends—you can see it in the way they look at each other, the way they laugh, and the way they simply seem happier in each other’s presence. Their connection is effortless, genuine, and deeply inspiring.

And of course, no love story would be complete without mentioning Luigi—their beloved dog—who made a special appearance for a few photos. Their baby, and clearly a very important part of their family.

A Wedding to Remember

Karishma and Matt’s wedding wasn’t just a celebration—it was an experience. A blending of cultures, a gathering of loved ones, and a reminder that love has the power to bring people together in the most beautiful ways.

It was an honor to witness, and one that will not soon be forgotten.
