Remembering Chief Kamu – Surfside Pier – 4.17.2015

Tonight, Surfside Beach was covered with family, friends and fans of Chief Kamu. So many people came out to show their respects and say goodbye to a wonderful guy who has been a big part of the community for many years. The Chief’s hula dancers performed a few beautiful numbers led by  his daughter’s Mahealani, Nanea, and their mom, Mary.   Then a few dozen surfers in wet suits paddled out into the ocean, made a circle and left flowers in the sea.
