Some weddings are big celebrations surrounded by hundreds of people. Others are quiet, intimate, and somehow feel even more meaningful because they are shared with only the people who matter most.
Summer and Sara’s wedding was exactly that.
They tied the knot at sunrise, surrounded by their immediate family, at the little piece of heaven they have created together. Their property is more than just a home—it is a reflection of who they are and the life they are building together.
And at the heart of it all was their beautiful glass greenhouse.
The greenhouse served as the perfect backdrop for their ceremony, surrounded by the beauty they have poured so much love and personality into creating. After they said their vows, everyone gathered inside for breakfast, making the morning feel less like a traditional wedding and more like a beautiful family gathering celebrating something incredibly special.
Summer’s brother had the honor of marrying them, and his ceremony was emotional, heartfelt, and personal. There was something especially touching about having someone who knows them so well standing there to help them begin this next chapter.
There were chairs waiting for everyone, but when the ceremony began, no one sat down. Everyone chose to stand, gathered close around Summer and Sara, completely caught up in the moment. It was such a small, unexpected detail, but it said so much about how special the ceremony felt. No one wanted to miss a moment of it.
Their home tells their story, too. They have put so much thought and love into every corner, with beautiful style choices and details that make the property uniquely theirs. Many of those ideas were inspired by their travels together.
Travel is a huge part of who they are as a couple. They share a love for exploring the world, experiencing new places, and collecting memories along the way. After so many adventures together, it seems fitting that their home would carry little pieces of those journeys with it.
Their wedding day wasn’t about putting on a show. It was about the two of them, the home they have created, the family who loves them, and the life they are continuing to build together.
A sunrise. A beautiful greenhouse. Breakfast with family. An emotional ceremony performed by a brother. And two people who have already shared so many adventures—and clearly have many more ahead.
It was simple, beautiful, and completely Summer and Sara.
And I couldn’t have asked for a more meaningful morning to photograph.
