Chris and Taylor made the trip down from Winston-Salem, North Carolina, for a little coastal getaway — but Taylor had no idea what Chris had planned. Nestled beneath the iconic live oak trees at Oak Allee, Chris got down on one knee and asked the question that would change their lives forever.
The moment was picture-perfect: sunlight filtering through the Spanish moss, a quiet pathway surrounded by natural beauty, and two college sweethearts about to begin their forever.
How They Met
Chris and Taylor’s love story began at NC State University, where they met as students. Chris played as the kicker for the NC State football team, and Taylor was cheering him on from the stands. Their friendship quickly turned into something deeper, and years later, they’re still each other’s biggest fans.
