Danica – Class of 2026 – Going Garnet!!

There are some seniors you just know are going to do big things—and Danica is absolutely one of them.

Danica will be graduating very soon from Carolina Forest High School, where she has made the most of her high school years both in and out of the classroom. As a cross country runner, she showed commitment, discipline, and heart—qualities that will serve her well in everything she takes on next.

But what really makes this one extra special for me is that Danica isn’t just someone I’ve worked with—she’s my niece.

As her uncle, I’ve had the chance to watch her grow into the person she is today, and I couldn’t be more proud. I’ve also been lucky enough to have had her work alongside me on several occasions when she assisted me during daycare photography sessions. She quickly proved to be someone you can rely on—smart, funny, and always carrying herself with a level of maturity beyond her years. Whether it was helping keep things organized or making kids feel comfortable in front of the camera, she brought a great attitude every single time.

This fall, Danica will be heading to University of South Carolina, and she couldn’t be more excited to become a Gamecock. It’s easy to see why—she’s ready for this next chapter, and it fits her perfectly.

There’s something special about watching someone you care about step confidently into their future, and Danica is doing exactly that. With her strong work ethic, kind personality, and sense of humor, there’s no doubt she’s going to make the most of every opportunity that comes her way.

I’m proud of her—not just as someone I’ve worked with, but as her uncle—and I can’t wait to see all the amazing things she accomplishes.
