Some clients come and go, but every now and then, someone becomes part of your story—and Julia is one of those people for me.
I first met Julia and her mom over twelve years ago at a wedding, and somehow, we’ve stayed connected ever since. It’s been such a privilege to watch her grow through different seasons of life. From photographing her high school senior portraits back in 2016, to celebrating her college graduation from CCU, and now… getting to capture her wedding—it really feels full circle in the best way.
Spending time with Julia and Josh during their engagement session at the beach gave me a chance to see their relationship up close, and it’s something special. Josh is just as kind and genuine as Julia, and together they have this effortless connection that’s hard to miss. They laugh easily, they support each other, and there’s a quiet comfort between them that speaks volumes.
You can tell they truly care about one another—not just in the big, obvious ways, but in the small moments too. The way they look at each other, the way they laugh together… it’s real, and it’s rare.
Being invited to document this next chapter of their lives means more than I can put into words. Watching Julia grow into the person she is today—and now seeing her build a life with someone who matches her so well—is something I’m incredibly grateful to witness.
I can’t wait for their wedding day.
