Willow Creek Conservatory Wedding – Shana and Garrett 11-22-14

I met Shana and Garrett this summer when I was hired by Garrett to photograph a surprise proposal on the beach here in Myrtle Beach. I had such a good time working with them and we really hit it off. So I was thrilled when they asked me to photograph their big day at the Willow Creek Conservatory in Landrum, SC.  I was told it would be a REAL country wedding and it sure was.  From the setting itself, the old truck, the covered bridge and the old mill, to the shot gun shell boutonnieres for the guys. Shana actually rode her horse around the entire property in her dress to meet her dad and walk down the aisle.  Everyone loved seeing that, it was so original.  DJ Wade Turner was great, made everyone laugh and kept the dance floor packed all night. The cake was perfect for the theme of the wedding and the flowers, with the cotton and feathers, were beautiful. I believe the feathers were from a bird that the guys had hunted.
