When Ashley and Seth reached out about planning their engagement photos at Huntington Beach State Park, I knew it was going to be something special.
Ashley serves in the Navy and grew up in Maryland, while Seth is in the Coast Guard and originally from Florida. They currently live in Florida, but chose the Myrtle Beach, South Carolina area as the perfect middle ground for their families to gather. Next July, they’ll tie the knot at the beautiful Hidden Acres wedding venue in Marion, South Carolina—an intimate countryside setting that will be the perfect backdrop for their big day.
Best Friends First, and It Shows
From the very first shot, it was clear these two are truly best friends. Most of their engagement session was full of laughter, playful teasing, and big smiles. They were completely themselves—relaxed, silly, and so in love—which is exactly what makes engagement sessions at Huntington Beach State Park so magical. The wide-open beaches and coastal trails let couples just be, without distractions.
A Sunset to Remember
As the sun dipped toward the horizon, the sky exploded into warm orange and pink tones. The mood shifted from lighthearted fun to something a little more romantic—and a lot more steamy. Ashley and Seth ended their session splashing in the water, wrapped up in each other as the waves rolled in. It was the perfect finale to a day that captured every side of their love story.
